Kombi is loving his neck massage which is focused on improving his neck/shoulder position due to forward shifted weight due to arthritic hind legs. When a dog has pain in their hind legs they compensate by throwing weight forward to the front and lowering their head position. This causes the whole bodies posture and mechanics to be thrown off.
Massage helps dogs move better, regain proper muscle function and reduce discomfort.

Massage is beneficial for all pets but especially our aging ones with all those aches/pains that come with getting older.
Massage can increase fluids to these areas for improved lubrication, tissue elasticity, and provide a decrease in discomfort/pain.

Kombi and Elvira really enjoyed their massages yesterday! I love watching nervous dogs let their guard down, lay down and fall asleep. I take this as a huge compliment that I make the dogs feel so good they can fully relax and enjoy the massage.
