Last Friday’s Happy Hour was one for the books.

With 12 talented musicians from the Old Time Fiddlers filling the room, it quickly turned into a packed house full of energy, music, and great company. You could feel the excitement from the first note to the last.

There was a full room as we said goodbye to Kristen, our wonderful Activity Assistant. So many residents came to wish her well, share a laugh, and thank her for the moments she helped create. What a sweet sendoff, and a reminder of how much one person can mean to a community!

Music, community, and a little hometown pride made for a special Mother’s Day outing. Our residents enjoyed a wonderful performance by the Skagit Country Chorale, joined by the North Cascades Concert Band, featuring familiar tunes in honor of the USA’s upcoming 250th birthday.

Even more special—one of our very own residents is part of the Chorale, which made the experience that much more meaningful for everyone.
