Aging is a subject deer 🦌 to my heart
The Elder in me, listens to the lessons being taught through time and still I rise
My work is on going as long as I’m still here, but now in the direction of bodies and minds aging too
Needing guidance and truth
So I’m here for me, for you
They say the world will be over taken by an army of grey women
Why ? because we know history
We know manners
We know God and truth
So we are here ready to learn, aging is simply part of life and regeneration, rejuvenating, reset, reboot and renewal
Time to learn new ways too
What keeps us old is our old behaviors old habits and patterns, while a new you awaits you in the now

Once upon a time, I had the metabolism of a rabbit.
I ate whatever and whenever with not a thought about repercussions (mind/ body/ spirit).
My prima ballerina physique lasted through three pregnancies, and well into my 40’s -
Then it didn’t.
My internal clock was not abiding to my old ways, and changes began to rear their ugly head.
Aging is an odd process.
We can’t stop it and trust me I tried, but we can embrace it.
What I mean by this is treat yourself kindly.
Besides the obvious (eating correctly and exercising) be kind to your mental and physical needs.
If you keep trying to be who you were, you will only have difficulty and disappointment.
We can’t go back.
Do the things that are appropriate to your mindset, energy, and capacity.
Feel free to challenge yourself, don’t give up, but when you are spent, tired of being tired… just rest!
I found that learning to care for my vessel is a privilege - one that I had to come to meet. It’s an honor that I can still do the things I love to do, (not in the same level of course) but backed by a mind (even though mind argues with my body) I still move.
My point here is sedation will never be my friend.
I move slower but I move.
I eat differently- although my sweet tooth is a constant battle.
But I feel good.
Goal!
Grayed and wrinkled, happy heart.
