It can provide a range of benefits, including improved manual dexterity, sensory stimulation, and reduced stress and anxiety 123. It can also be a fun and inclusive activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, abilities, and skill levels 1.
Our senior residents really enjoyed putting their flower vases together and enjoyed the friendship commodity.

January Drumming for Health was therapeutic for our residents. Using different instruments helps slow brain dysfunctions, increase physical and social activity, and help reduce depression. Residents chose their favorite instruments to use.

Wrapping up December 2023 and boy, were we amazed with Christmas cheers from little ones to our visit with Santa Claus. We started off December 2023 with our Seasonal Flower Arrangements. Then the Baking Club, our annual Kids Violin Concert along with their teacher, Kim's Piano students, our monthly performance from our Church Choir [we were astonished with their dancing, singing, and use of music instruments], and a wonderful surprise from YMCA pre-k with their Christmas performance. We are so grateful and blessed from everyone in our community during December.
