How does red light provide the body with more energy? 🤔
There's two primary effects:
1. Red light creates energy by firing up the body from a cellular level, boosting the function of mitochondria (the powerhouse of our cells in our body) and giving them a "charge".
2. Red light decreases inflammation in the body, allowing you to feel better, lighter, and less toxins.
Caffeine works by blocking a specific neurotransmitter receptors, called adenosine, in the body which prevents the natural sleepy affects of said neurotransmitter.
This can cause you to feel more alert and energized, but it's from a blocking natural responses vs promoting and creating real energy!
(PS we love our coffee too - we'e not hating!)
Plus, our tolerance changes with caffeine intake over time, where red light tolerance does not.
In fact, the more you do, the better results you get!
