Teacher Appreciation Week 🤍

This week, we want to take a moment to thank all of the incredible teachers, educators, aides, coaches, mentors, and school staff who pour so much into our children and communities every single day.

Thank you for the early mornings, the patience, the love, the encouragement, the life lessons, the creativity, and the countless unseen hours spent helping others learn and grow. The impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom walls and often stays with us for a lifetime.

To all the educators who have helped shape minds, build confidence, spark passions, and create safe spaces for learning. We appreciate you more than words can say. 🌿🍎

We’d love to hear from you:

Share a story about a teacher or educator who made an impact on your life or your child’s life.

What’s something they did that you’ll never forget? 💛

If you started your plants indoors, now is the time to harden them off 🌱

Your seedlings have been living the cozy life, most likely no wind, steady temps, filtered light.

Moving them straight into the garden can shock them, so we want to help them adjust little by little.

Here’s how to do it:
• Start by placing them outside in a shaded, protected spot for 1–2 hours
• Gradually increase their time outdoors each day
• Slowly introduce them to more sun and wind exposure
• Bring them inside at night if temps are still chilly
After about 3-5 days, your plants will be ready to handle the real world 🌿

For those in the La Crosse are, this weekend looks like a great time to get plants in the ground as long as nighttime temps stay above the 30s. Keep an eye on the forecast just to be safe!

A little patience now = stronger, happier plants all season long 💚

Not sure where to start? We can help, send us a message to book your garden session today!

Garden Coaching Sessions are officially in full swing 🌱✨

There’s nothing quite like getting your hands in the soil and learning right in your own space.

These in-garden coaching sessions are designed to meet you where you are, whether you're starting from scratch or looking to grow with more confidence and intention.
Together, we’ll walk through your garden step-by-step, covering everything from planting and spacing to soil health, maintenance, and seasonal care. You won’t just leave with information, you’ll leave with real experience and the skills to continue cultivating your space long after we are gone.

This is hands-on, personalized learning rooted in connection to your food, your land, and the rhythms of the season.

If you’ve been wanting guidance, encouragement, or simply someone to garden alongside you, this is your invitation 🌿

Message us or email honagoods1@gmail.com to book your session or learn more.

Have you ever heard of seed bombs?

Seed bombs are small bundles made of clay, compost, and seeds that you can toss into your garden, or even neglected spaces, to grow wildflowers, herbs, or pollinator-friendly plants. No digging, no fancy tools, just toss, water (or let the rain do its thing), and watch nature take over.

✨ Benefits of seed bombs:
• Support bees, butterflies, and other pollinators
• Help restore soil and bring life to empty spaces
• Easy and fun for kids and adults alike
• A simple way to spread beauty and nourishment in your community

I’ve been playing around with the idea of making some—think wildflower blends, herbal mixes, maybe even garden veggie varieties 🌼🌿

Would you be interested in purchasing seed bombs if I offered them through Hona Goods?
Drop a 🌱 in the comments or tell me what kinds you’d love to see!
