Slowly getting things together for the sale-

Wonderland Therapy LLC is undergoing a business model shift and closing its play center/physical clinic location at the end of August. Because of this- we are having a HUGE inventory sale.

Mark your calendars:

Sept 7th 9am-3pm.

Toys, therapy items (crash pad, swings, weighted items, gross motor play items), yoga mats, floor mats, kids tables and chairs, imaginative play items, cars, dolls,
office furniture, shelving, rugs, baby equipment, feeding items, puzzles, games, arts and crafts- and more!!

Also find home/office chairs, desk, shelves, rugs, garbage cans, file cabinets, folding chairs, etc.

“You look like the Fourth of July- makes me want a hot dog real bad.” -Who knows the movie?

Also a reminder that beautiful weather and holiday weekends usually means grilling and gatherings (it does in our family.)

Hot dogs and brats are one of the most common food choking hazards.

A friendly reminder to cut, quarter, and serve these into age-appropriate sizes for all family members!

Diced for infant
Quartered length-wise for toddler
Quartered or cut in half length-wise kids 2-4
Whole for older child and adults

Heading to a fest, gathering, parade or other “out of the ordinary” event this week?

Here are a few tips to help:

Prepare kids for events by talking about them, showing pictures, watching videos, and reading books

Create a routine/schedule of events to help with transitions (use pictures for younger kids)

Incorporate heavy work/calming activities into the day (Deep breathing, animal walks, squeezes, swinging)

Offer sensory regulation tools as needed (headphones, sunglasses, quiet spaces, etc)

Have fun!

After long consideration, I have made the tough decision to transition back to offering mobile services and close Wonderland Therapy and Play Center’s physical space.

This is a bittersweet announcement as I’m looking forward to this transition AND feel sad about saying goodbye to a facility I’ve put my heart into and so carefully designed.

Many factors have gone into this decision. I’m happy to answer questions!

All summer programs and open plays will happen as scheduled.

Summer programs start in a little over two weeks- First day is June 19th!

These programs are a great summer activity for little ones- perfect for parents to get their kids socializing, learning new skills, and have FUN!

Toddler parents- What’s a recent “pick your battles” scenario you’ve had with your child?

Here’s mine: It was too cold to wear shorts but he insisted. So he wore pants over his shorts. It wasn’t worth the fight. 😅

For good measure here’s another: It was past bedtime and he wanted to wear his tshirt to bed instead of the pajama shirt. Wasn’t worth the fight. 🤷🏼‍♀️

(To be fair I think this applies to any age of child, even teens, but toddlers usually get called out for being a bit ✨ resistant ✨)
