Less than two weeks to go... and I've been reflecting on why these events matter.

As we get closer to Nursing Research on the Green and the Nurse Networking Summit, I'm reminded how powerful it is when people come together to learn, share ideas, and support the nursing profession. While these events center nursing scholarship, they're strengthened by the presence of anyone who partners with, supports, or interacts with nurses. Those broader perspectives enrich the conversations in meaningful ways.

These gatherings aren't just dates on a calendar... they're opportunities to invest in our students, our colleagues, and the future of nursing. If you've been considering attending, I'd love to see more voices and champions join us. Your presence truly shapes the dialogue.

2026 Dahlberg Scholar, Dr. Dan Weberg, PhD, MHI, RN, FAAN, will present:

This session dives deep into the forces propelling nursing to the forefront of healthcare innovation. We will explore how nurses are leveraging technology, leading research, and redefining patient care in ways that were once unimaginable, all while navigating rapid change, breaking through common barriers, and fostering creativity at every level of practice.

**Nurse Networking Summit - Game Night Edition**

Join us on the evening of Thursday, April 9th, from

4:30-7:00pm to connect with area nurses over a shared meal and enjoy an evening of conversation and camaraderie at the Integrated Center for Education at Emplify Health by Gundersen. This is a fun opportunity to network and share perspectives. Dr. Dan Weberg will engage with participants in a session entitled

The Nurse Networking Summit is a community-based event for nurses and student nurses to get acquainted, learn from each other, and network. Again this year, they are partnering with Nursing Research on the Green to provide a special networking and educational experience the evening before the research sessions begin. Dinner is included.
