Join us for an evening of Restorative Yoga and Meditative Mantra.

This two-hour workshop offers a quiet, supported approach to practice. The first portion of the evening will focus on restorative postures, guided by Pam, with live chanting from Nicolle. After a short period of rest, the practice will continue with meditation and mantra, drawing from the Yoga Sutras and Vedas.

This is an opportunity to slow down, observe, and experience the effects of stillness, sound, and attention in a more focused way.

Open to all students, whether you are new to yoga or continuing your practice.

Starting something new can feel uncertain, especially when you are not sure what to expect.

An Iyengar yoga class is designed to guide you through that process with clarity and care. You are not expected to know the poses or understand everything right away. Instead, you are given the time, instruction, and support to begin building that understanding step by step.

Each class focuses on learning how the body works in a pose. Through detailed instruction and thoughtful progression, you begin to develop strength, stability, and awareness in a way that is steady and sustainable. Adjustments and guidance are offered to help you work in a way that suits your own body, so the practice becomes something personal rather than something to keep up with.

Over time, these small, consistent efforts begin to add up. You may notice changes not only in your practice, but in how you move, stand, sit, and feel in your body throughout your day.

This is a place to learn, to observe, and to grow into your practice at your own pace!

Yoga is often seen as a physical practice, but it is also a practice of awareness.
In Iyengar yoga, you are not simply moving through poses. You are learning how to organize the body, refine each action, and move with intention.

Over time, this builds a stronger connection between the mind and the muscles, creating more stability, clarity, and control.

This is a practice that develops understanding, not just flexibility.

Sarvangasana is often translated as “all limbs pose,” reflecting its wide-reaching effects on the body.

In Iyengar yoga, this posture is approached with care and progression. Variations of Sarvangasana allow students to build strength, stability, and understanding over time, rather than forcing the full pose too soon. Each variation offers its own opportunity to learn, whether it is developing alignment, improving balance, or creating support for the neck and shoulders.

Using props and thoughtful setup, these variations help make the pose more accessible while also deepening the work for more experienced students.

This is how the practice evolves, step by step, with attention and intention.

Explore these variations and notice what each one teaches you!

Sirsasana is often referred to as the king of asanas, offering a unique opportunity to build strength, balance, and focus.

In Iyengar yoga, Headstand is not rushed. It is developed through careful preparation and a gradual understanding of the actions required in the pose. Variations of Sirsasana allow students to build strength in the arms, shoulders, and upper back, learn how to organize the body, and approach balance with greater confidence.

Each variation provides a different point of focus, helping students understand how to distribute weight, support the spine, and remain steady in the pose.

With clear instruction and the thoughtful use of props, the pose becomes more accessible and more refined over time.

This is a practice built through attention and consistency.

Explore these variations and notice how your understanding develops!
