Participants in Janesville were excited to spend time with Mary the comfort dog last week. They loved getting the chance to interact with her, ask questions, and learn about her journey to becoming a comfort dog.
Mary is an LCC K-9 Comfort Dog with St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Janesville, and she spends her days spreading comfort, calm, and smiles wherever she goes. It’s safe to say she made a lot of new friends during her visit!

Lots has been happening in New York with this group. They've been taking in ALL of the amazing attractions there is to see. The Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, National History Museum, the Lion King Broadway show, and MORE!

Every little adventure in between those big things has been a blast too. Good food, live entertainment (which Lois even got to sing with them), and lots of laughs and memory making.

We are so excited that we can make this opportunity happen. All thanks to the big dreams participants have had, we made it a reality! Some have never even traveled outside the state of Wisconsin, so this will be quite the experience. First big thing: Riding on an airplane for the first time... and the subway!

Youth in La Crosse took a couple of trips recently to Clearwater Farm and they always enjoy it. Cuddling the cats, feeding the animals, and enjoying the outdoors is a day well spent!

Last week, participants in Lancaster had the opportunity to visit the Lancaster EMS Station and learn about careers as EMTs and EMS professionals. During the visit, they explored emergency vehicles and equipment while gaining insight into the important role first responders play in the community.

Participants also built valuable life skills such as communication, teamwork, listening, self-advocacy, problem-solving, and safety awareness through this hands-on career exploration experience.

A big thank you to the Lancaster EMS team for welcoming, educating, and inspiring our group while sharing all they do for the community each day!

The crew in Lancaster had so much fun visiting The Creative Blueberry -Amateur Art Shop in Boscobel! 🎨

Everyone followed along with the lesson to create their painting; while still adding their own personal touches to make it feel unique to them. Along the way, they practiced teamwork, patience, and responsibility and felt proud in all of their creations.
