While the weather has been moody and the pre-holiday season busy and hectic, our residents have been fully embracing the joy of the season! They’ve been out and about enjoying Rotary Lights, decorating Christmas Tree, creating holiday crafts, celebrating birthdays, playing bingo, shopping for gifts, decorating cookies, and—most importantly—having a lot of fun along the way.

Dear ILC, LLC Team,

As the year comes to a close and the holiday season is upon us, we want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you.

Your dedication, compassion, and professionalism are the foundation of everything we do at ILC, LLC. Day in and day out, you show up for our residents and for one another with patience, integrity, and care—often in ways that go unseen but never unnoticed. Because of you, our homes are not just places of care, but places of dignity, safety, and belonging.

This year has brought both challenges and growth, and through it all, your commitment to our mission has remained strong. We are deeply thankful for your hard work, resilience, and the genuine heart you bring to your roles.

Happy Thanksgiving, Team ILC!

As we celebrate this season of gratitude, we want to take a moment to thank each of you for the heart, dedication, and compassion you bring to our homes every single day. The work you do truly matters, and our residents feel your kindness in countless ways.
We are deeply grateful for your commitment, your teamwork, and the care you show to one another and to those we serve. Because of you, ILC continues to be a place where people feel safe, understood, and supported.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our residents and their families for trusting us with their care, to our former staff who contributed to our journey, and to our business partners and collaborators who continue to support our mission. Each of you plays an important role in making ILC a place of safety, dignity, and comfort.
We are especially grateful to our founders, Shirley and Jim Koepke, for laying the foundation of ILC and their contributions that helped shape who we are today.

Where did summer go? Time really does fly when you’re having fun! Here’s a photo recap of some of the wonderful activities our residents enjoyed in there of this season—summer camp, swimming, ice cream socials, outings, races, nature walks, pontoon rides, and so much more.

Summer is here—a perfect time for outdoor fun, staying active, picnics, and relaxation! Our residents are joyfully embracing a variety of exciting opportunities offered by the Special Olympics (walking club abd bocee ball) and our local community. With plenty of sunshine and smiles, they’re even teaming up with our staff to help plan outdoor adventures of their own. A big thank you to Amanda Tallman, Megan Arenz, Dawn Gagner, Leo Tysse and Kirstie Urbanek for helping our residents make the most of this summer and enjoy every moment!
