Allison came into the shelter as a stray today, 11/14, and urgently needs medical support. She has a significant overgrowth of fur on her left eyelid, which is impairing her vision and causing ongoing irritation.

She has been started on medications to help manage the discomfort, but she will need timely veterinary evaluation and appropriate treatment to prevent worsening of the condition.

Allison is being incredibly tolerant despite the irritation, but she cannot wait long for care.

If a medical rescue or foster can step up for her, please contact us immediately.

Port Aransas, TX - 7YO spayed female mixed breed

I'm Miss Molly, or just Molly if you prefer. I've been at the shelter longer than most of the dogs here, so I believe it's time for me to get adopted. At the age of seven, I've got some life experience and a bit of wisdom, if I do say so myself. I know what I need, and the main thing is a family that will love me, but that's easy enough to do. I like to go outside and sniff around a bit, but I am not going to need hours of playing fetch. You see, I don't fetch. I do enjoy walks and am really quite skilled on the leash. I am dog friendly and definitely human friendly! My bags are packed, and I'm ready to roll, so come to the shelter for a visit!

Molly is up to date on vaccinations, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $50.

The Final Days of a Gentle Senior No One Came For

Twelve Years of Surviving… Now Only Hours Left 💔

Audrey 59778399 is a 12-year-old senior female, small mixed breed. She came in as a stray on the 12th and will be off her stray hold on 11/16 after 2:12 PM — the moment she becomes at risk. She arrived severely thin, dehydrated, likely with cataracts, advanced dental disease, a mass on her head, and possible mammary tumors.
