The First Christian Church dropped off a very generous donation of brand-new beanies, gloves, socks, scarfs, earmuffs and more to help keep everyone warm and comfortable during the colder months! We will stage the donation upstairs in cubicle space (previous BHT cubicle space) here shortly for staff to distribute to clients in need.
A big thank you to First Christian Church for their kindness and support!

Start here:
• Build an emergency kit with water, food, medications, and important documents
• Make a home evacuation plan so everyone knows how to get out safely
• Sign up for emergency alerts for real-time local updates

🔥 Home Heating Safety Reminder 🔥

As the weather gets colder, heating equipment becomes one of the leading causes of home fires. A few simple steps can help keep your home and family safe this winter.

• Keep space heaters at least 3 feet away from anything that can burn
• Plug heaters directly into wall outlets — never use extension cords or power strips
• Turn heaters off when leaving the room or going to bed
• Use heaters with an automatic shut-off feature
• Have furnaces and chimneys inspected before heavy winter use
• Install and test smoke & CO alarms monthly
