SERVICE NOTICE - TUB SERVICES IN ELGIN/HWY 82

At this time, we expect to begin a new route servicing 300 gallon tubs in and near Elgin and along Hwy 82.

The first service day of this new route will be Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 and continue every other Wednesday thereafter.

Please note, this change will only affect Tub services in Elgin or on Highway 82 south of Elgin. Green rollcarts will continue to be serviced on original Tuesday routes.

Attention Elgin residents

*Tub services only*

All tubs in Elgin will be serviced on Wednesday, August 6th while we perform an audit of our routes. This applies to services normally scheduled for both Tuesday, August 5th and Tuesday August 12th.

This is a temporary adjustment only. Regular schedules will resume on August 19th and 26th.

Swing by and grab a new recycling list and information about reducing waste.

Wednesday, July 15th Residential Service Notice:

Due to the closure on 6th Street, there will likely be adjustments to your normal service time. Please ensure your cart(s) are out Tuesday night. Whether you are directly effected by the closure or not, it is likely service will be at a different time than normal.

Customers in the immediate closure area:
Be prepared for service as early as 5 AM on Wednesday. If we are unable to provide service on your Wednesday, we will return when the closure is lifted in 1 to 2 days. Please leave containers out and accessible until service can be provided.

Customers on this route will receive an email from service@waste-pro.com with additional information.

🎉 Happy Independence Day from Waste-Pro! 🎉

Please take note of our holiday schedule for the 4th of July:

The Transfer Station and Office will be CLOSED on Friday, July 4th.

The Transfer Station will reopen at 9 AM for regular hours on Saturday, July 5th.

The Office will reopen Monday, July 7th, at 8 AM.

Important for Curbside Service:
There are no garbage route delays for this holiday! Please have your cart out the night before or by 5 AM on your normal service day, as routes will be running early.

Project Dumpsters:
Be sure to order any project dumpsters as soon as possible. Delivery and service for these will not be available on Friday, July 4th.

Let's all celebrate a safe Independence Day! Please remember to drown and soak all spent fireworks before disposal to prevent fires.
