Hear. Listen. Connect.
Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates was started by Michael Sturmak over 3o years ago. It was a small practice open about 4 days a month. Mike would travel to Eastern Oregon to test hearing in a small ENT office and maybe fit a hearing aid or two. In 2006, Mike asked Erika Shakespeare to join his practice so that we could see more people in the Eastern Oregon area. When Mike retired in 2016, Erika took over the practice. It was no longer enough to be here 1 or 2 days a week. Our community had grown and our practice was ready to grow with it.
It is our dream to bring hearing healthcare to a whole new level. Focusing on the needs of the individual and their family to develop hearing management plans to improve quality of life through better communication. Improving hearing is more than picking the right hearing aid, learning to listen so that you can connect with those around you. Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates focuses on maximizing you and your families existing communication skills and enhancing them for improved success in hearing and, yes, even listening. We work with individuals impacted by tinnitus (ringing in the ears) to find an individual management program that works for you.
Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates moved into our new building June 10, 2019. We now have space to really work with you to help you hear, learn to listen and to connect you to the world of sound.
