Meet Brandon Miller, LCSW! He is one of the mental health providers who uses our ‘rent by the day’ which is available for any professional to use. He is a stellar and experienced counselor. Here is his bio:
My name is Brandon and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and I enjoy helping people to live their life to the fullest extent. I utilize therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and many others. It is my goal to meet you where you're at, using trauma informed methods, to help you accomplish the goals you have set out to achieve. Whether your goals are related to mental well-being or recovering from an addiction, I am here to walk with you down the path of building resilience, recovery and growth. I have a background in first response work after spending four years as a Reserve Police Officer with Enterprise Police Department, two years with the Enterprise Volunteer Fire Department and training for EMS work. I also have extensive experience in crisis response work, I am the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Coordinator for Wallowa County and continue to work closely with Law Enforcement on training, debriefs and the processing of ongoing trauma associated with the exposure of the profession. I am an experienced therapist who has a background in both first response and behavioral health. I have a strong faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Becoming a follower of Jesus when I was young, I have continued down the path of what it means to be a Christian. If you are a Christian, and would like to explore how your faith intersects with your mental health struggles, I would love to foster that experience. Christians still struggle with depression, anxiety, symptoms of PTSD and substance use. As a fellow believer, I am here to walk down that path with you.
