Happy Friday!

Winter/Spring EMDR therapy consultation groups:

Next month, I’ll be starting 3 EMDR therapy consultation groups. We will meet once a month for 6 months. I ask for a 6-month commitment to the group. My groups are capped at 4 people, and we meet online. The cost is $90 per meeting.

Group 1: Therapists who were trained, but do not use EMDR therapy regularly and would like to get more comfortable with the protocol and brush up on their skills.

Group 2: Therapists that are newly trained in EMDR therapy and want to continue to get comfortable with the protocol and hone their skills.

Group 3: Therapists who are working toward EMDR certification and/or have more complex trauma cases.

Group 1: Fridays at 10 am CST
December 1st, January 12th, February 2nd, March 1st, April 5th, May 3rd

Group 2: Mondays at 10 CST
December 4th, January 8th, February 5th, March 4th, April 1st, May 6th

I've had the opportunity recently to talk with so many other women business owners lately. Here is my chat with Dr. Cindy Rubin from a few weeks ago. When Cindy and I met in person about a month ago, I think we talked for 2 hours. We still had more to say! Thanks for the chat, Cindy!

We look like we’re having fun, right?! I saw this workshop run by and come across my IG a month ago. Then a friend reached out and asked if I was going to sign-up. Improv? Play?! In front of other people?!! I had immediate hesitation which, for me, is usually a sign that I need to lean into whatever is happening. I took a chance and signed up.

It was so fun!! Who knew improv games could help me expand my business sense and work through some anxiety. I also got to connect with other business owners and professionals looking to foster some fun and creativity. As adults, we need to play, too! Definitely recommend trying something fun and different ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

C/o• There's a quote that goes something like, "Parenting was much easier before I had kids."

The fantasy vs reality shift can be jolting for sure. They tend to evolve/change at different times.

Do you agree with any of these? Which ones stand out as being much harder than expected, especially during this season of parenting? If some of these used to be a concern (and aren't anymore), what helped you make the shift? What would you add?

Our story

We see you. Trying hard to make the most of this life you’ve created. You’ve done everything “right.” So, why is it still so difficult to be happy and enjoy yourself?

Hi, I’m Hillary. I specialize in women’s and reproductive mental health with an emphasis on infertility struggles, pregnancy and postpartum. I support women as they embark on their motherhood journey, throughout pregnancy and managing the ups and downs of postpartum. Transitioning into motherhood is a beautiful thing, but it can rock your world like nothing else. You do not have to walk that path alone. I’ve had extensive training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and it is my mission to educate, advocate and support women and their families on this path.

I love working with ambitious, high-achieving women who are struggling to balance the multiple roles they hold for themselves and their families. Motherhood is full of so many ups and downs it is important to have someone hold some space for you and support you in the way you support others.

Hey there, I’m Peggy. I grew up in a large family, three brothers and three sisters. There was always a lot happening in the house. I was the quiet one, always listening, watching what was going on. Perhaps that guided me toward the counseling profession. Coming from a large family has it’s ups and downs. In the last three years, I lost two brothers and a sister and most recently I lost my oldest daughter to cancer. Life is hard, can give you challenges, questions the meaning of life, can make you angry, bitter and hard to get through each day.
