About the eye doctor:
Dr David Liem was born and raised in Monterey Park, CA. He graduated from the University of California at Irvine and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr Liem continued on to optometry school in Chicago at the Illinois College Optometry and graduated with honors in patient care. After graduating in 2001, Dr Liem became board certified. He has served as an examiner for five years for NBEO (National Board of Examiners in Optometry). His first position was at Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park, CA as a full time optometrist for five years. For the last six years Dr Liem has been practicing inside Costco in Los Angeles. Currently he is practicing inside Sam's club in La Habra providing eye care for the local community. When not at work he enjoys volunteering at RAM (Remote Area Medical).
