Join AMSA for our quarterly tour of the SIM Center! UCSD School of Medicine's Simulation Training Center consists of four simulation rooms which includes a hospital ward room, emergency/intensive care unit room, operating room, and a procedural training room. During this tour, AMSA members have the opportunity to tour the whole facility and get to see some of the medical technology that is often used in the healthcare industry.

This would be the perfect opportunity for you to participate in practice interviews with your peers! This is a low-stress environment where you will ask various interview questions with one another.

Interest in supporting a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Workforce Program? Duties may include administrative, educational, outreach, and research or building a more inclusive mental health workforce
-Assistance with organization of the program
-Support with educational content on pediatric mental health with an emphasis on culturally empathic care
-Working with medical students and community partners on events
-Coordinating schedules, supporting data collection, and supporting submissions within financial systems
-Writing on topics related to youth mental health and assisting with social media/website

Hospice care is end-of-life care in which companionship and comfort are the utmost priority for a patient. As a hospice volunteer, you are providing fulfilling connections and interactions with the patient(s) assigned to you for a minimum of 2-4 visits a month across 6-12 months. The fundamentals of being a care provider is rooted in holistic understanding of health and Hospice Volunteering offers an abundance of opportunities for volunteers to develop their fluency in not only physical but emotional health within but not limited to a clinical setting. This is an opportunity for volunteers to gain holistic clinical experience. Thank you for your interest!
