Acupuncture is often used alongside IVF as a complementary therapy to support how the body responds to treatment.

While IVF medications are designed to stimulate the ovaries and regulate timing, the body still plays an active role in how those signals are received and processed. Acupuncture plays a part in supporting this process by promoting circulation to the reproductive organs, regulating the nervous system, and encouraging more balanced hormonal communication through the hypothalamus–pituitary–ovarian (HPO) axis.

Acupuncture does not replace medical treatment — it works alongside it to help create a more supportive internal environment during IVF.

I am over the moon excited to announce that I am now a Fellow of the Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine Board of Reproductive Medicine (FABORM) 💛🌼

Being a Fellow signifies clinical expertise and a deep commitment to supporting reproductive health through Chinese medicine. Practitioners who earn this designation have completed rigorous coursework, passed a comprehensive board examination, and demonstrated proficiency in treating fertility and reproductive conditions using acupuncture, herbal medicine, and integrative approaches.

Beyond technical knowledge, being a Fellow reflects a high standard of clinical care. FABORM practitioners are trained to bridge Eastern and Western perspectives, often working alongside reproductive endocrinologists and other healthcare providers to support patients through natural conception, IVF, and other assisted reproductive technologies. Their training emphasizes evidence-informed practice, individualized treatment planning, and a nuanced understanding of both male and female fertility.

1. Meeting friends for lunch and then shopping for Whole Foods at the Farmer’s Market
2. Opening Herbs to Acupuncture 2.0 in La Jolla
3. Hanging with friends and holding their sweet babies (lots of this)
4. Supporting women on their journey’s to motherhood 🥹
5. Spending the weekends outdoors and offline
6. Filling my cup with self care moments (monthly massages)
7. Participating in many wellness events! Love my community
8. Got engaged to the love of my life who has been incredibly supportive of my business ventures
9. The wind down routine which consists mainly of red light therapy and a book on women’s health

I adore you, 2025! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the moments of 2026💛🌿
