We’re proud to share that Shannon Taylor, Insurance Administrator at Reproductive Partners Fertility Center - San Diego was featured in the Times of San Diego, providing expert insight on California SB 729 and what expanded fertility coverage means for patients.

“From my perspective, I think the most significant change this brings is that it restores hope. It allows more Californians to hope once they find out that they’re infertile, and it gives them ample opportunities to continue to try to build their family.”

As SB 729 takes effect, many Californians will gain new access to infertility diagnosis and treatment, including IVF, IUI, and frozen embryo transfers. Shannon helped clarify what coverage includes and the importance of understanding plan details as patients navigate these changes.

As SB 729 takes effect, we’re investing in technology, expanding our financial counseling team, and building the infrastructure needed to guide patients through insurance changes with less stress and more transparency.

According to Garzo, “Patient care is our North Star. Always has been."
