At the beginning of my treatment, everyone was incredibly nice, and I felt respected and well-cared for during each visit. I even raved about this office on every military response page I could find because of how great the experience was.While they dont accept military dental insurance, I still chose to start treatment with them because of the amazing deal I received on Invisalign. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. However, as my treatment progressed, I needed additional dental work. While the office could perform this work, it wasnt covered by my insurance, and the out-of-pocket costs would have been significant. As a mother of four and with the holidays approaching, I made the practical decision to have this work done at another provider that accepted my military insurance, allowing me to save a considerable amount of money.Even though I returned to La Jolla Family Smile Design to complete my final Invisalign photos and other steps, it felt like I wasnt as valued as a patient anymore because I chose to get some of my dental work done elsewhere. I didnt feel the same warmth or respect that I experienced at the start of my treatment. It felt rushed and impersonal, and I didnt even get to see the doctor to review or celebrate my final results.While Im incredibly happy with my Invisalign results and have recommended this office to otherssome of whom are starting treatment in January based on my referralI was disappointed by how I was treated at the end of my journey.La Jolla Family Smile Design is a great place to start your Invisalign process, but I hope they work on maintaining the same level of care and respect for all patients, regardless of where they may need to seek additional treatment.
