The Trading Post window has been decked out for coming Autumn season! The Trading Post is our resident run thrift store that provides income for the Casa Club through sale items donated by residents.

Casa enjoyed a fun trip to the San Diego Public Library. This immense library was easy to get lost in with it's nine floors of books and experiences. Our favorite areas were the James Hubble exhibit on the 9th floor, the big beautiful all-windowed reading area on the 8th floor, and the rare book room also on the 9th floor. This library holds the smallest published book in the world as seen below next to a dime. Such a wonderful experience!

It was a full house at this month's Fireside Chat as Bob shared some stories about his life while working for the CIA. Although he did not share any restricted information, he did tell us about his different living arrangements and had us completely captivated by some of his funny and scary stories. These Fireside Chats are a great way for Casa to get to know their neighbors.

Casa shares love with Pride.... The residents at Casa made posters and cards of support and love. Then we headed off to the Pride Parade to share that love and kindness with everyone there. It was a blast to see all of the beautiful floats and people.
