Interesting article in New York magazine about cadaver fat injections. Swipe over for the part about prepping the b***y with the Truflex machine. Each session is equivalent to “thousands of squats.” In this article the doctor also firms up the skin with Sculptra prior to filling the hip dip with the donor fat.
Truflex is currently buy 3 sessions, get 1 free, and two muscle groups are done in each session. For example: abs and glutes. I’m also a big fan of bio stimulators like Sculptra and Radiesse in the butt. Donor fat injections are not yet widely available, but they make sense. We use donor material for things like bone grafting around dental implants and breast reconstruction after mastectomy.

Yes, facelifts are all the rage right now, but they’re not right for everyone, at least not right now. But the choice is not between getting a facelift or doing nothing at all. In fact, even if you do decide to get one, you still need to do treatments to improve the quality of the skin. Collagen and elastin aren’t naturally produced in our 40s and beyond unless we introduce bio stimulatory procedures such as radio frequency, PDRNs, sculpture, radiesse, microneedling.
