What makes Brolico more powerful than broccoli?

Brolico is not powdered broccoli. It’s actually a very specific phytonutrient that comes from broccoli. Phytonutrients are compounds that plants produce internally in order to protect themselves from external threats. Studies have shown that when consumed, these compounds extend their health benefits to the human body.

What’s particularly special about the brolico phytonutrient is that it’s been clinically shown to increase immune system defense in humans*, by activating the cells that protect your body from bacteria, viruses and other harmful pathogens.

Why not just eat broccoli

You can't get the benefits of Brolico from eating broccoli. This is due to a factor called bioavailability, which refers to the amount of the nutrient that is absorbed into the bloodstream and delivered to various parts of the body for utilization. In the case of the brolico nutrient, there is zero percent bioavailability, and this is for two reasons: 1) there is not enough of the nutrient present in the average serving size (or even multiple serving sizes) of broccoli and 2) the cell casing that contains the nutrient is too strong for the traditional methods used during the digestive process (i.e. chewing and the release digestive enzymes).

So, to make Brolico bioavailable, we first have to make it bioaccessible. What this means, literally, is we have to break open the cell wall that contains the nutrient.

The only way to get Brolico from broccoli

We do this using specialized equipment, and innovative technology that was designed and patented in partnership with doctors, university researchers and scientific experts in the field of phytonutrients. The details are proprietary, but it involves a delicate combination of extreme pressure (equivalent to the pressure found at the bottom of the ocean) and extreme heat.

Because so many traditional extraction methods involve the use of microwaves, solvents or other harsh chemicals, our goal was to develop a process that could obtain the nutrient without any unnatural substances or at all. We call it Phyto-Thermal extraction. Aside from heat and pressure, there are only two other elements used: fresh broccoli (within 48 hours of harvest), and pure water (sourced directly from the melted snows of Mt. Fuji).

As an added measure of quality, each batch of Brolico extract is individually tested to ensure purity and potency standards are met before it is moved on to the next phase (drying, pressing, packaging, and on to you).
