Please be advised that tomorrow, June 6, AVRMC, in partnership with the La Junta Fire Department, will be conducting an Incident Drill at AVRMC.

You may notice an increased number of vehicles and/or people around and in the hospital throughout the day.

No services at the hospital will be altered because of this drill and all appointments remain unchanged. These drills are required by the Joint Commission and enhance our ability to provide the best care to our patients.

🔥🎉 Friday wrapped up National Hospital Week with AVRMC pride and a sizzling staff BBQ! 🎉🔥

We ended the week on a high note with great food, great company, and the final showdown of our Co****le Tournament!

🏥💙 Happy National Hospital Week! 💙🏥

🍦🎉 Thursday was full of sweet fun and playful vibes! 🎉🍦

You screamed; I screamed — we all screamed for ice cream while rocking our best polka dots! Staff enjoyed a cheerful Ice Cream Social in the afternoon, while our amazing night shift was treated to dessert-on-wheels with a special Ice Cream Cart before dinner. 🍨✨
Meanwhile, the Co****le Tournament heated up as the bracket narrowed — a champion is on the horizon! 🌽🏆

It was a day filled with sweet treats, bright patterns, and great company. Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun!

🌟 Wednesday was all about celebrating dedication! 🌟

We honored our incredible team members who reached milestones of 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 35 years of service. Their commitment was recognized with a special feast luncheon and heartfelt appreciation — thank you for a total of 445 years of service! 💙

The rest of the hospital lit up with Wear Neon Day — because when it comes to spirit, we Glow Big or Go Home! 🌈✨

It was a day full of brightness, gratitude, and celebration. Thank you to everyone who helped make it shine!

🏥💙 Happy National Hospital Week! 💙🏥

Tuesday’s celebrations were full of fun and flavor! 🎉

We started the day with a free pancake breakfast for all staff — a sweet way to say thank you! 🥞 It was also Wear Your Stripes Day, and our halls were filled with colorful, creative outfits.

The Co****le Tournament kicked off with great energy and lots of enthusiastic participants — the competition was fierce and fun! 🌽🎯
Later that evening, staff got creative during our craft night, decorating custom boards thanks to the amazing support from Klein Makerspace. 🎨🛠️

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day special!

🏥💙 Happy National Hospital Week! 💙🏥

We’re celebrating our amazing healthcare heroes from doctors and nurses to support staff and volunteers - every role is vital in keeping our communities healthy and safe. Your compassion and dedication inspire us every day!

On Monday, we showed our AVRMC pride by wearing blue and treating staff to relaxing chair massages. Night shift team members were also treated to pizza and subs!

Huge thanks to the Arkansas Valley Health Foundation for cosponsoring, and to Prairie Palace Massage, Reflexology & Massage with A. Hart LLC, and Eudaemonia for helping us care for our team!
