❤️ February is Heart Month! ❤️

As we focus on heart health this month, it’s a great reminder that staying active is important at every age. Did you know that older adults can benefit from safely increasing their heart rate during short bursts of exercise?

According to Harvard Health Publishing, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) — alternating brief periods of higher effort with recovery — can help improve cardiovascular fitness and strengthen the heart when done appropriately and with medical guidance.

Small changes, like adding short intervals of faster walking or gentle strength exercises, can make a big difference for heart health over time.
