Peer 613

Peer 613 At Peer 613 we believe that every individual is equal and will be treated with dignity and respect.

By ethically using our lived experience, we support individuals in their journeys towards recovery by realizing their self-worth and instilling hope. We provide a refuge and someone to talk with while you regain a sense of balance. Peers help individuals with reducing stress, isolation, improve skills, promote positive self esteem, build a support network and connect with the community. Sometimes

it takes the advice and guidance of others who have gone through what you have in order to move forward with recovery. Recovery is a personal journey that enhances hope through positive relationships, empowerment, and a secure sense of self and social conclusion. If you have lived through recovery and have a drive to help others ask us about becoming a peer specialist!

What is Peer 613?

The Peer House in La Junta, located at 613 Barnes, was created as a safe space for struggling individuals to find hope. The peers strive to make people feel encouraged, accepted, and equal, find opportunities for leadership, empowerment, and self-advocacy. Social activities, support groups, workshops, and more are all offered at the Peer House, and every initiative is led by a peer, who can offer personal experiences and stories to help support others in recovery.
