We forget this. As women we are so accustomed to the different standards and values that are placed upon us that we often play along. We forget that we have been treated and seen as “less than”, from our rights and bodies to our feminine (as opposed to masculine) qualities.
Many of us have mothers and grandparents who once could not get their own credit card, only because they are women. Remember this and use your voice to call out inequalities that still exist - for women and for any other person or groups who still struggle to be treated with dignity and respect.
