We extend our sincerest appreciation to the Valero interns who visited our village and generously volunteered their time power washing the parking lot and doing yardwork to enhance our entry way. They demonstrated exceptional work ethic and will be completing their internship in August. We wish them safe travels as they return home to Idaho, Louisiana, Georgia, San Antonio, and College Station.

We’re thrilled to be opening a Barber/Beauty Shop at Independence Village and are in need of a barber chair and beauty tools. If you have any items you would like to donate, please contact Independence Village directly. Your donation will help us offer a much-needed service to our residents.

In addition, if you are a beautician or barber and would like to volunteer your time to help our residents look and feel their best, we would love to have you on board!
