Some simple steps to incorporate to help you feel your best all year around!
1) Eat closest to the earth as possible. Remove toxic, processed foods and replace them with organic, Whole foods. You will find that this alone can make such a difference in how you feel. Your body and organs will thank you!
2) Hydrate with minerals and electrolytes. You cannot hydrate with just plain water. You have to bring minerals and electrolytes in to be hydrated in a cellular level. BodyBio E-Lyte and Remineralize are two of my favorites for this. Baja Gold Seat Salt and herbal teas are also incredible ways to get in minerals.
3) Spend more time outside. Studies are showing that morality increases in an individual the more time they spend indoors. Get outside in the sunshine and connect with the earth as much as you can throughout your day. This is free medicine!
4) Sweat daily! For total body health and to assist in riding the body of toxins it’s vital to sweat daily. Lift weights 2-4 times a week, 10-20 minute weighted vest walks daily, sprint for 10 minutes (30 seconds on, 1 minute off) 3 times a week, stretch and mobility 10-20 minutes daily. Solid!
5) Sleep 7-8 hours a week. This seems so simple but it is one of the things that most people struggle with. Sleep is by far one of the most important pillars of health. So many processes in the body happen when we sleep. Stop scrolling, go to bed before 10pm, wake between 5am-6am…repeat!
6) Get your labs done and analyzed by someone who uses an optimal lens. If your P*P is still reading your labs for you, sorry to tell you, you’re not optimal, you’re still part of 98% of the sick population. Also, if you’re not testing, you’re guessing.
7) Work on your drainage and lymphatic system. This is so critical! Your lymph system is not a stream, it is a pump and requires manual assistance to work. You have to stimulate the lymph system every single day. This can be done with practices like manual lymphatic massage, dry brushing, bouncing or rebounding and breath work.
8) Cultivate joy! Inviting play and cultivating joy in to your life in whatever way that looks. Challenge yourself with a new skill, do something you love, etc.
