The Grossmont Healthcare District supports the health & wellness of East San Diego County and promotes health literacy through GHD's Health & Wellness Library () Content Policy Advertisment: The purpose of this social media site is for the Grossmont Healthcare District to share news and information regarding the activities and programs of the District and its employees. However, please be aware that this site is designed and maintained to provide a limited public forum where content is subject to reasonable regulation. Before posting a comment, please note: The Grossmont Healthcare District will review all comments after posting. The District reserves the right to remove and/or otherwise restrict comments, or even the ability to post comments in the future, based on content containing any of the following:
-Comments unrelated to the purpose and topical scope of the social media site.

However given the need to manage resources, the moderation and posting of comments will ordinarily occur during regular business hours. REMINDER: SUBMIT YOUR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS BEFORE 2/6🎓 Eligible students who currently live, work, or have previously attended high school in East County, within the boundaries of the Grossmont Healthcare District (GHD), are encouraged to check out our GHD Health Career Scholarships program!

Our programs at the Library are provided as a benefit to East County community members. Beginning in 2026, we will be stricter about our registration policy and will require you to present your physical library card or the number associated with your card to sign up and reserve your spot.

Some of our programs and events are open to all, otherwise cardholders have priority. Please check our website for more information & to sign up for a library card.

Our Story

Grossmont Healthcare District is a public agency that supports health-related programs and services in East San Diego County, and partners with Sharp HealthCare to operate Grossmont Hospital.

We are governed by a five-member board of directors, elected to four-year terms, each representing one of five zones within the District’s 750 square miles of East San Diego County.
