There are so many stories I could tell you about each hug, each encounter, and each little or big person I interacted with last night. However, there is usually one family that brings the tears and really reminds me why we do what we do. I got a text Tuesday night that the mom was waiting for the abuser to go to work, so she could get her 7 children to safety. One of my friends headed up getting the donation and handled the shopping. That family was the sweetest family you could ever imagine. The mom sat there in tears because she left everything behind. She didn’t come from poverty. She just had to escape. She had no idea how her kids would get anything for Christmas, but they did. Their ages were from 1-10. They do not look like they were abused. Regardless of what the mom had to endure, you could see the love she had for her children, and the love they had for each other. Every present the kids opened, even if it was a pair of pants or shoes, brought so much excitement to their sweet, innocent little faces! That family touched my heart like you cannot even imagine. We all have a story, and we all need help at some time in our life.

We actually ended up with 10 other children between that night and the next morning and then an additional 7 yesterday a few hours before the party started. All kids were taken care of! It is only by the grace of God that makes all of that possible! Thank you to everyone who sponsored a kid, made desserts, or who donated Santa shop items, 2 litre bottles, $50 gift cards, cash, last minute items to fill the gaps and your time! Jesus is the reason for the season! My heart is so full of joy today because last night was a huge success, but also a time where strangers exchanged the gift of love!🙏🏻🩷 🌟

UPDATE: I just found out there’s 13 more kids coming in today. These are emergency situations, so we need to make sure the kids at least get some kind of Christmas! Message me if you can take a kid! Thank you in advance! 🙏🏻🩷

Tis’ the season to be jolly or to help others! THANK YOU to everyone who has already stepped up to help me with my Christmas party for all the kids and moms who live at The Bridge! The Bridge is a shelter for domestic violence. Every kid has a Christmas wish list, and all of the kids have been sponsored! Every mom gets a $50 gift card, so I still need 19 more gift cards! I am still collecting gifts for the Santa shop which is how they “shop” for their mom and siblings when they “earn” money by doing chores! 2 L bottles are still needed for their ring toss game! This is my 5th year to host this party and it’s such a blessing to all! Let me know if you can help out with any of my last-minute needs!🙏🏻🩷

Jesus is the reason for the season! Helping others in need is the best gift you can ever receive! This will be my 5th year to host a Christmas party for all the kids and moms who live at The Bridge. We listen, we care and we will help you find the right treatments for you in order to help you achieve your personal goals. We also believe in forming personal relationships and friendships with our clients and love to have them be part of the Skin Essentials Family. Kelly Davis is the owner and prior to starting Skin Essentials Luxury Med Spa & Salon, she worked stragecially along side Physicians and other Spa Owners operating her own Mobile Med Spa business for 4 years. Her passion for beauty and wellness plus serving others was her driving force to create a very unique atmosphere. Skin Essentials was founded in November of 2007 and started out in a 2000 sq. ft. office space on Fairmont Parkway and then expanded into it’s 5400 sq. ft. building at the Space Center location in April of 2014. We offer a wide variety of services ranging from relaxing Facials and Massages to Corrective Skincare, Cosmetic Injections, CoolSculpting, Laser Hair Removal, B12 Shots, bioTE Hormone Optimization & Salon Services.
