Dear valued patients and friends of Perry Physical Therapy,
To begin, I would like to sincerely thank you on behalf of myself and my staff for all of the trust you have placed in us over the past 17 years. We have done our best to provide you with the highest level of personal and professional physical therapy services as possible. Taking care of you has been an honor for my staff and me.
I am writing this to inform you that Perry Physical Therapy will be closing effective April 1, 2024. I have done my best to recover since the onset of the COVID pandemic in 2020, but the past 3 years have proved that I cannot overcome those losses. I have been unable to maintain consistent professional staff, and insurance reimbursements continue to decrease while the costs of running a small business continue to increase. It is for these reasons alone that I have had to make this very difficult decision.
Some of you have been our loyal patients from the very beginning while others of you are fairly new to our office. Just know that this is an extremely difficult and sad decision for me as well as for my staff. We consider you part of our Perry PT family. You have many choices in physical therapy providers, and you have decided to choose us. We wish you nothing but the best in the future and feel privileged to have known you all.
I have been in contact directly with Karen Merritt, DPT, and Jessica Super, DPT, owners of Dynamic Physical Therapy in Palm Desert. They are also a small practice who prides themselves on individualized care for their patients and are willing to do their best to take on as many of you as possible. I feel very confident in suggesting them to you for your continued physical therapy:

Norm Perry will still be running his cash-based practice for any of you who would like to continue with him for counterstrain to address your pain or other issues. He will be in this location until his new office is ready (approximately April or May) in Palm Desert off of Country Club Dr. near Washington St. His phone number will remain the same as our current number (760-345-5453) and he will be happy to help you.
If you are in need of medical records before you complete your time with us, please let the front office staff know so you can sign a HIPPA-compliant authorization form to release a copy of your medical records to you. After closure, records can still be obtained from us by leaving us a phone message or emailing us at perryptinc@gmail.com.
