Yesterday we were so pleased to host for our organizational-wide leadership team meeting Rosecrance Behavioral Health's Raymond C. Garcia, MD, FAPA, ABAM Chief Medical Officer and his right hand woman Amy Young the Director of Nursing. Rosecrance Behavioral Health affiliation for us brings talented professional mental health care providers to help us grow both our services and people. Jodi Mahoney our President, Noelle Sliker our VP of Operations, Angie Hughes our Clinical Director, and Angie Carretto our Clinical Manager of Care Coordination/Psychiatry are dedicated to leadership and for this important aspect of mental health therapies.

We were so happy to be a part of this annual event for the Veterans at the Peru Airport. Rosecrance was there right by our side for the day.

Thank you Emily Bear - MLE for sharing your talents at this year's gala fundraiser for Rosecrance. We are fortunate that our leadership was able to attend this event in Rockford. As one of their affiliated organizations, we are able to expand our outreach to those in need of mental health services.

Bear is known for her work on Moana 2 as well as several solo projects and a tour.

Our Health Directions division is able to serve those who serve us as Illinois Police officers. We provide Psychological Evaluations to Law Enforcement agencies and Officers to better serve our communities. All new conditionally accepted Law Enforcement Officers and for all Law Enforcement Officers one time per year. These Mental Health Screening Evaluations (Public Act 101-652) has been a recommendation by Governor Pritzker. These evaluations and possible follow-up treatment recommendations are held strictly confidential. These screenings do not include “Fitness for Duty” evaluations.

We have a culture that values the celebrity. It is good when the star power uses their influence to help kids, and the adults responsible for them, to have good mental health. Soleil Moon Frye who starred in P***y Brewster, a popular TV Sitcom in the mid-1980's, partnered with Kids Mental Health Foundation to create a documentary having celebrity actors sharing their stories of their personal struggles with mental health. May is Mental Health Awareness Month because it is a part of life that affects everyone in some way.
