Yes!!
Let me tell you a little bit about myself and why I rely on elderberry syrup.
Back in 1991 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma. At that time the protocol for Hodgkins (and it may be now but I'm not positive) was to remove the appendix in the spleen, two organs that filter out infection and disease.
I was told back then that it "may compromise my immune system a little bit, not having a spleen". 🤦🏽♀️
Back in the 90s, the other protocol for Hodgkin's lymphoma was an ungodly amount of radiation therapy. Yes, it killed my cancer, but it also killed a lot more of my healthy cells. It caused scarring in my lungs, eventually caused breast cancer in 2020, and lastly… And I hope it is lastly… It destroyed my aortic valve causing me to have to have open-heart surgery in 2024.
To say that my immune system is compromised is putting it mildly. When I got sick, I got sick sick!
I learned about elderberry syrup when I started my herbal medicine education. I had worked in the health field before and saw so many people using prescription drugs, myself included, that I knew I needed to find some alternatives. No I'm not saying don't use your prescription drugs if that's what you need to do. Note that please. 😉
I bought elderberry syrup. Then I started making it. I would take it every day. Then I started selling it.
One spring I was so busy making it for other people that I neglected to keep some aside for myself. Guess what happened!
I ended up in the hospital for almost 10 days with full-blown both lungs full of pneumonia and influenza a. I almost died. Again.
Since then I've been taking a tablespoon of elderberry syrup every single day! If I'm around someone who's sick, or if I start to feel the ick coming on, I quadruple up on my dose daily.
Sure, we still get sick sometimes. But it is nowhere near what I went through before and rest assured, I will not let myself run out of it again!
And I'll do my best to make sure you don't run out of it either.
Making a fresh batch this evening! 😉
