(310) 245-6387 A Family Style Home operates a 6 bed elderly care facility, dedicated to providing a comfortable, friendly, and family environment to our residents. CLIENTS ARE CLASSIFIED IN TWO TYPES Active Elderly The active elderly usually choose their own activity. The La Verne Senior Center, located approximately three miles from the facility, is our primary resource. From the schedule, residents choose their interests and participate in activities such as lunch with friends, bingo, dancing, movies, and scheduled outings. Transportation is provided, coordinated and supervised by Joanna, the administrator. The Frail Elderly The frail elderly need a higher level of maintenance as they are unable to care for themselves; requiring assistance in many or all of their living needs. They are typically happy just to sit on the couch, reading, watching TV, playing cards, or word puzzles and taking naps.
