Our Why!

The Women’s Center offers programs and services to women. Our goal is to help single moms, moms of children with special needs, retired moms, teen moms, disabled moms and moms that are just struggling, by providing much needed life and career skill development. When we are able to assist a woman in developing new skills it affects her entire family. Her children see her learning, growing, and working hard and it inspires them to do the same thing, which in turns changes their future. So by helping women learn new skills and become healthier, stronger, and more empowered to be the women God created them to be, we are able to stop the cycle of her children falling into the same habits and traps that have kept them stuck. We have then affected the entire next generation, which is so exciting to see and be a part of!

We serve women in many different walks of life through our life and career development programs, whether it is a single mom on welfare that needs to learn new skills so she can get a well-paying job, or a teen mom that doesn’t think she can go to college now, or a woman who has the heart of an entrepreneur and wants to open her own business. We have services that address each of the different needs our clients have, including counseling and life coaching. For career development they include, but are not limited to the following: strength & aptitude testing, digital literacy, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook workshops, resume/interviewing workshops, as well as workforce training programs. For life development they include, but are not limited to the following: life coaching, support groups, counseling, personal finance, healthy habits = healthy you, stress management, relationship and parenting workshops, as well as our mentoring program. We currently serve over 180 different women in the San Gabriel Valley and beyond, that means well over 540+ lives are being changed! With your help we will have satellite locations in LA, OC, SD and SB, so we are able to change lives across Southern California!!
