Some of you have been with me for a while. Others are finding me for the first time. Either way — I am glad you are here. 🌸 (The algorithm may punish me 😜)

Over the past year or so, I have turned inward — tending my own roots, and quietly building something I am genuinely proud to share. That season has bloomed into a class that’s quietly formed, grown, and is now being extended to those who resonate with it. 🪷

Awakening the Divine Feminine

Each Monday at 10, you’ll gather in my open air poolside yoga pavilion with adjacent mighty oaks, birdsong, and always a breeze — moving through breathwork, fascial, lymphatic & yogic movement drawn from multiple traditions. 🌿🧘‍♀️

What makes this series truly unique is the nervous system regulation toolkit woven into every session. These are practices I personally sought out, studied, integrated, and built upon during my own journey back from a masculine career in law enforcement. I was depleted and sought my feminine nature for balance. These tools became my daily practice and lifeline, refined to serve YOU.

💐Week 1 — Spring; The Bloom + The Second Bloom · Emerge fully. It’s never too late.
🔥 Week 2 — Summer; The Burning Rose · Channel your inner fire into creative power
🍂 Week 3 — Autumn; The Release · Let go of what no longer serves you
🌍 Week 4 — Winter; The Fertile Void · Get still, go inward, trust what’s growing

No yoga experience necessary. This class has welcomed ladies from their teens through their senior years. Every body. Every season of life. 🌸 And although I love a good handstand/inversion — this is not that! (Though never say never. 😉)

Space is intentionally limited for individual attention — every student is seen and supported. When it’s full, it’s full. 🪷

Five years ago, I walked away from alcohol, self-abandonment and picking up snakes that I knew would bite. 🐍

A year after retiring from law enforcement,
I had no choice but to face my shadows. It was a fork in the road, and I chose to listen to that small little flame inside saying “aren’t I worth fighting for?”

I was exhausted from survival mode and toxic environments.

When the pressure at work became unbearable, and my body started keeping score,I waved the white flag and said the words that rang the bell. “I choose family. I choose me.”

This weekend was in stark contrast to the one exactly five years ago. It felt like hope proof and gratitude for the woman
I was. In reverence to her for making hard choices while drowning in pain. She was the one who chose to give up one thing to change everything.

I may not be exactly where I want to be yet…
but I’m standing in gratitude for how far I have come.

If you needed a sign that choosing yourself matters —this is it. 💫✨💗💪

I want to thank Heather Murray, The Heather Murray Team, Homestead & Ranch Real Estate, especially Tania Zigmond for the opportunity to lead yoga at such a beautifully curated event. (And all of you that made it possible)

To everyone who attended, thank you for remaining open ❤️, trying new things and bringing your 🔥. So many strong and graceful yogis brought their beautiful spirit.

The Toasty Lemon catered an amazing fresh brunch to refuel, chat and connect, with a beautiful feminine touch.
This paired with my Dharma talk about awakening the divine feminine within all of us; encouraging heart opening, following and trusting our intuition, and discernment.

It was a beautiful way to kick off the fall season (although we’re still in 90’s temps) and usher in flowing with nature and change.

While preparing for the practice at sunset, I was inspired by bats darting around in an unpredictable “chaotic” pattern. It was the first time I really noticed them at my house at dusk. I never thought I’d be using bats and yoga in the same sentence, much less as inspiration, but mother nature is an ever powerful teacher IF we can slow down enough to pay attention.

Bats can symbolize death and rebirth. The bat hangs upside down, like a baby before birth, reminding us that endings are always connected to beginnings. It was not lost on me that many of the students requested to learn inversion poses to “go upside down”, requesting headstands and shoulder stands. Perhaps innately craving to see things from a fresh perspective. The childlike joy and pride they displayed crushing goals was infectious.

Bats also remind us that transformation isn’t always neat or predictable. It can feel dark, uncertain, and uncomfortable. We learn to turn on a dime, trusting our internal guidance and cycles of our own lives.

Has anyone seen the bats in Austin? Perfect orchestration! Where are you in a cycle of letting go—releasing old stories? Where do you feel the stirrings of something new being born? Each ending carries the seed of a beginning. Where can you learn to trust your inner guidance more?

I attended this Arm Balance workshop at Black Swan Yoga nearly a year ago, which reignited my passion for arm balances and inversions. This led to achieving my long-held goal pose, Forearm Stand/Scorpion, initially set in 2017. Life and the conclusion of my demanding law enforcement career put progress on pause, but I recommitted to my inversion practice in 2024. (See if you can spot me on this reel).

This practice continually reveals the parallels between life on and off the mat. It is humbling, challenging, satisfying and exhilarating. What I appreciate most about these classes, besides the incredible teachers and inherent play and joy, is the fact that we clap for each other and are committed to growth!

2024 was filled with lessons, and I am grateful that this practice and community are a constant to keep me grounded as a forever student. Handstands, I'm coming for you in 2025!
