Today I uttered the words, “I think I might be able to do this pose someday” for the first time ever (regarding flying pigeon). And honestly i meant it. I believed myself. 🤯
Why does reality split open sometimes?
Wild! Whatever you find impossible today may be possible one day. True both on and off our mats. Sending you love yogi. Keep going, sometimes a rephrase unlocks the next door. Yeee!

Yogic texts equip us with an understanding of the 5 mental afflictions that cause suffering; ignorance (avidya), egoism (asmita), attachment (raga), aversion (dvesha) and fear of death (abhinivesha). These mind states keep us bound to cycles of suffering and prevent us from experimecing true peace and joy which is our birthright. Yoga and meditation are the tools which help us overcome these sometimes paralyzing mind states.
If you suffer with the mind becoming stuck on things get on your mat, stretch out and give meditation a try. Some of my favorite types of meditation include yoga Nidra, Tonglen, and metta meditation.
