Join us for an informative Together and Thriving Event to learn about the Nebraska Enable Savings Plan (ABLE account)—a tax-advantaged savings option designed for individuals with disabilities and their families. Stacy Pfeifer, Director of Enable Savings Plan will be in attendance to inform, answer questions and help families.
The Enable Savings Plan allows people to save for disability-related expenses like housing, education, transportation, and healthcare without impacting eligibility for benefits such as SSI or Medicaid. Nebraska residents may also qualify for state tax benefits.
This event will provide a simple overview of how the plan works, who is eligible, and how it can support long-term financial independence.
