Congratulations to the PCHC Employee of the Month for January ~ Lawrence Schuman!!

Lawrence is a Maintenance Laborer and has been on board with us for almost 1-1/2 years. Lawrence was chosen by a fellow employee based on one of the Sacred Seven Teachings, TRUTH. The person who chose Lawrence stated, "...Lawrence has been a valued member of the maintenance team since 2024. Throughout his life, he has faced and overcome many personal challenges, consistently rising above them with resilience, integrity, and strength of character. He remains true to who he is and to the values he carries, both in his work and in his personal life.

Lawrence’s supervisor describes him as detail-oriented, eager to learn, and someone with a strong work ethic who can always be trusted to get the job done. Lawrence is not afraid to respectfully voice his thoughts and opinions when he questions how a maintenance task is being completed, demonstrating honesty and accountability. At the same time, he is open to mentoring new staff and willingly shares his knowledge to help others succeed.

Truth is living and speaking from the heart, and Lawrence exemplifies this through his actions. He stays true to his word—if he says he will do something, he follows through. He is a quiet person who demonstrates active listening and earns the trust of his supervisor and coworkers by consistently completing tasks correctly the first time.

Beyond the workplace, Lawrence is a devoted single father who does his best to instill cultural teachings and strong values in his son’s life, further reflecting the principle of Truth through responsibility and guidance.

For these reasons, I proudly nominate Lawrence Schuman for Employee of the Month. We are truly fortunate to have him as a coworker and as a member of our maintenance staff."
