Congratulations to Joan on his 10 years with BHC!

Juan's journey with BHC began in 2015 and has been an exciting and continual path of growth ever since. He started by delivering hospice equipment as a Delivery Technician. While that role was rewarding—knowing he was helping people during a time of great need—he felt called to do more. With a strong passion for helping others, he transitioned into the Rehab Department, where he’s been able to make an even greater impact. Now, he provides assistance with Complex Rehab equipment across the community, allowing him to help in more meaningful and far-reaching ways.

“What I enjoy most about working at BHC is the support I receive that allows me to not only grow professionally but also enjoy a fulfilling personal life. I’m a husband to an amazing wife and father to three incredible daughters. We stay busy with sports and family get-togethers, and we always make time for camping and fishing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. In my spare time, I enjoy playing a little golf with some good friends. Thanks to Bellevue Healthcare, I have the flexibility and support to enjoy the things that matter most to me.”

This month we’d also like to congratulate Tim on his 5 years with BHC!

Tim began his journey with BHC while still in school, initially joining as a cleaner with the support of his brother, Matt Yadali. After school, he consistently contributed by organizing the Spokane warehouse, assisting drivers, and maintaining cleanliness. Upon graduating, he transitioned to a full-time Driver Technician role. He later advanced to a Customer Service Representative position, where he gained deeper insight into BHC’s operations. Tim now serves as the Senior Warehouse Technician at the Liberty Lake location, where he supports morning dispatch, handles deliveries, manages warehouse inventory and organization, and assists with CSR responsibilities as needed.

Congratulations to Phelan on his 5 years with Bellevue Healthcare!

Phelan began at BHC as a Service Coordinator in the Complex Rehab department, where he also gained hands-on experience as a technician. After recently passing his Assistive Technology Professional exam, he advanced to an ATP role at BHC’s Eugene location.

From our humble beginnings to 22 locations across the Pacific Northwest, we’re incredibly grateful for the journey we’ve shared with our team, customers, and partners. It's been an honor to provide essential medical equipment, mobility solutions, and respiratory services to thousands of clients with the utmost care. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of our story. Whether for a short time or many years, your contributions have helped shape us into the company we are today. Here's to many more years of serving the PNW community!

Peter Norman, BHC’s CEO, shares a few words below:

“As we celebrate 25 years of service at Bellevue Healthcare, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible support of everyone who has invested in BHC over the years, those who have worked here, customers and our friends. It's truly humbling to reflect on how far we've come, and we owe it all to the dedication of our team members, both past and present, who have shaped us into the company we are today. Some were here for a short stint, some have stayed decades, but all have left a mark on what BHC is today and we are truly grateful.

We've always been committed to providing legendary customer service, and we are deeply appreciative of our long-standing partnerships with healthcare systems and organizations that share our values and embody our culture of care.

Over the past two and a half decades, we've had the privilege of serving hundreds of thousands of clients by providing essential medical equipment, complex mobility solutions, and respiratory services. It's been an honor to support those in need with the highest level of care and excellence.

As a local, PNW-based company, we are excited to continue serving our community for many more years to come.

I also want to acknowledge Eric Mortenson, our co-founder. Even though he was only with Bellevue Healthcare during our early years, his vision and influence in building a culture of service continue to guide us 25 years later. This past weekend, Bellevue Healthcare hit the 25 year celebration in style celebrating at Top Golf with team members from across all our locations! From friendly golf competition and casino night to great food, drinks, and even better company, it was a day to remember. Cheers to 25 years of care and many more to come! 💙

Bellevue Healthcare Portland is hosting a free Mobility Equipment Clinic on Friday, July 18 from 1–4 PM at the Blackburn Center (12121 E Burnside St, Portland, OR). Stop by for free repairs and tune-ups on walkers, wheelchairs, crutches, and other mobility equipment—no appointment needed. Our team will also be available to answer insurance questions, provide measurements for slings, braces, and compression socks, and offer expert help with power wheelchairs.

Congratulations to Bob for his 20-year milestone with Bellevue Healthcare! He started at our flagship location in Bellevue before launching our first Eastern Washington branch in Spokane. As BHC’s footprint grew, Bob was promoted to Territory Manager, proudly serving his hometown and surrounding communities.

Driven to better support clients’ rehab needs, Bob earned his ATP certification and now serves as our VP of Rehab Services. His leadership and dedication continue to shape the future of Complex Rehab at BHC. Here's to two decades of impact!

Celebrating 10 Years with Zak at BHC! Zak has been an integral part of our team for the past decade, currently serving as a Rehab Service Technician while working toward his ATP certification. Beyond his daily responsibilities, Zak leads the way in training new technicians—whether it’s traveling to other locations or hosting sessions in Portland.

We’re so proud of our own Derek Kruse and Lexy Badinger for representing Bellevue Healthcare at the Oregon Capitol in Salem! They spent two days alongside NCART and National Seating & Mobility, meeting with legislators and pushing for important changes—right-to-repair and eliminating prior authorization for CRT repairs. These efforts are all about making sure people get the care they need, when they need it. Huge thanks to everyone who showed up to advocate for better access!

It was truly a special event — complete with testimonies from students and educators who have directly benefited from your support. The Beaverton STARS, our region’s one and only color guard for students with disabilities, were the stars of the evening. With the foundation’s support, the team got new color guard poles this year and had a chance to show off their skills at the event.
