In March 2024, I participated in a Mayan abdominal massage training that proved to be one of the most transformative and educational experiences of my nine-year career in massage therapy.

This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending a private training focused on prenatal Mayan abdominal massage with the same instructor. The experience of witnessing, engaging in, and truly supporting someone through their pregnancy was nothing short of extraordinary. The knowledge I’ve gained from these two trainings has already proven invaluable to both me and my clients, and I’m eager to see how many more lives I can touch in the future.

Upon returning home, my instructor reached out with an exciting opportunity—she invited me to be her teaching assistant in an upcoming abdominal therapy class. I feel incredibly honored by this opportunity, and it validates the work I’m doing in this field. I look forward to deepening my understanding of this practice while supporting others on their healing journeys. This next chapter not only enhances my skills but also allows me to share my passion for holistic wellness with aspiring practitioners. I'm truly excited for what lies ahead and can't wait to see how this journey unfolds.

I’m heading out of town for a private class to delve deeper into the therapeutic treatment of the pelvis during pregnancy and after birth. I am so excited to add to my arvigo mayan abdominal massage techniques to aid pregnant people during each stage of pregnancy and post birth. These techniques help bring the pelvis and uterus into optimal position, allowing the baby to move easier into a good birthing position, reduce back pain, reduce symptoms of sciatic pain, round ligament pain, and SPD (symphysis p***s disfunction).
