Sadly, Art’s father, Arthur passed on Friday, October 21, 2022. Art’s memorial service is being rescheduled so they can be laid to rest together.

A Memorial Service Art Jr. and Arthur will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 4:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA with Reverend Phyllis Pelletier officiating. The service will begin with a Military Honor Service for Art Jr. and will be conducted by the members of the Wyalusing American Legion Post #534 and the Penn-York Detachment of the Marine Corps League. Interment will follow at the St. John’s Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2:00 until the time of the service.

The visitation will still be from 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon and the service will still be at 12:00 noon at the Independent Baptist Church, 109 Cherry St., Towanda. On behalf of our family, I strongly recommend you vote for Louis Marcho to be the Wyoming County Coroner. We have had the opportunity to work with Louis on many occasions and he has always been very professional and empathetic with our families.

Louis is very experienced as he has had to opportunity to be the Deputy Coroner in Wyoming County for the last 5 years. He has been trained by Thomas Kukuchka and Thomas was trained by Bryce Sheldon (my great-uncle).

Louis is the only candidate that has the experience and the certification needed to be the County Coroner. If the candidate is not a Certified Coroner, then the county will incur costs for the certifications.

GriefShare Support Group to Start in September, 2021

No matter what the circumstances, grief recovery is a painful process. We are writing to let you know about a special seminar and support group that we sponsor for those coping with the loss of a loved one.

We understand the pain of losing a loved one and how deeply grief and loss can affect families. We are contacting you to let you know about a group you may benefit from called GriefShare. With the help of this group, many people right here in our community have found ways of coping with the loss of a loved one. Pastor Dick Camp has been conducting this nationally recognized program for years in our community and has helped many persevere through the difficult times. This group is completely free to you.

The program runs for 13 weeks. Days and times are listed below for in person meetings. Each week covers a different topic, so if you miss a session, you will be able to pick back up the following week with the new topic.

A Military Honor Service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Wyalusing American Legion Post # 534 with the members of the Wyalusing American Legion Post #534 conducting the service. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Legion.

Richard Bif Kramer died on December 21, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer at his home in Wyalusing, PA. Born July 17, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Fredrick and Lydia Beeskau Kramer, Rick was the second oldest of four boys. He is preceded in death by his
