On this day, we pause in solemn remembrance of the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who displayed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
Though the years have passed, the weight of that day remains in our hearts. We honor the memory of those perished, the bravery of first responders, and the resilience of a nation that stood united in sorrow and in strength.
May we never forget their sacrifice, and may we continue to honor their legacy by living with compassion, unity, and love for one another.

From it's humble beginnings at 65 Rosary Avenue in Lackawanna, we have always strived to be the Funeral Home of choice for the families of the Southtowns area of Western New York. Established in 1947 by Norman E. Gannon, the Firm has grown into a third-generation full service Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Now being operated by Norms twin sons, Brenden and Brian, along with Brian's son, Patrick, we have been able to separate ourselves by proving to be a truly "family-owned and independent" Funeral Home. From the initial call for service to the conclusion of the funeral, all services are personally supervised and provided by a member of the Gannon family.

In recognition of our firm's reputation and ethics, we were chosen in 1999 to be The Official Funeral Directors of Father Nelson Baker for his move from Holy Cross Cemetery to Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna, New York; with Brenden Gannon being appointed Special Counsel to the Vatican for The Cause for The Canonization of Father Baker.
Community involvement by the Gannon's is evident by their memberships in many organizations including the Usher's Society and Holy Name of Our Lady of Victory Basilica, The Father Baker's Knights of Columbus in Lackawanna, The Knights of Equity and Friendly Sons of St. Patrick in South Buffalo and the Jaycees and Chamber of Commerce in Lackawanna. They also serve on such worthwhile fundraising committees as the "Santa Is For Everyone" toy giveaway serving underprivileged children at Christmas; "Baker Victory Nite" serving the special needs of the children and families at Our Lady of Victory Infant Home and "The Hillery Foundation" and "The Kaleidoscope Committee" of Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School of South Buffalo in fund raising efforts for scholarships for deserving young men and their families.
In 2004, our firm was awarded the Better Business Bureau Torch Award . The award was created to recognize and honor companies in the Western New York area that demonstrate their commitment to Marketplace Ethics. As stated by Roger Arnold, Chairman of the Board of the Better Business Bureau, "They exhibited such outstanding standards that they were judged by their peers and consumers to be singled out for this honor". "We honor the best of the best in business." It should be noted that this was the first and only time in the history of The Torch Award that a funeral home had been bestowed the honor.
After each funeral service conducted by our firm, we send the family a "Survey of Service"; a questionnaire for them to complete answering a wide variety of questions; everything from why did they choose our firm to their opinions on facilities and pricing.
