Manganese: Required to transport the hormone thyroxine into our cells.

Magnesium: Calcium and magnesium must be balanced in the body to ensure proper thyroid function. If there is too much calcium, thyroid hormones can become diminished. Magnesium is the regulator of calcium absorption and utilization.

Thiamine: One of the B vitamins (B1). Its main responsibility is to change carbohydrates into energy, and it also helps with the digestion of proteins and fats. You need Thiamine for proper release of hydrochloric acid in your stomach, which is required for proper protein digestion. Most people with Hashimoto’s have low stomach acid or do not release any stomach acid.
