Of course, no Mardi Gras celebration is complete without king cake, provided by Lydia Food Store — sweet treats, great music, and lots of smiles all around! 👑🍰✨

Residents enjoyed beads, lively tunes, and a bag lunch picnic outside, soaking up the fun and fresh air as the celebration got underway! 🎶🎉🥪

🎉💐 Happy Activity Professionals Week at River Oaks! 💐🎉

This week we celebrated the heart, creativity, and energy behind all the fun — our amazing Activity Director, Priscilla; the women behind it all! The one who makes every activity possible! ❤️

From planning daily activities to coordinating guests, entertainment, celebrations, and special moments, Priscilla and her team work tirelessly to keep our residents engaged, smiling, and enjoying every day at River Oaks. 🎶🎨🎉

And what better way to celebrate than all week long with love, food, and surprises! Big thanks to the following:

🍗 Monday: Abe Cartagena with Hospice of Acadiana brought Chick-fil-A
🍽️ Tuesday: Geneviéve Ransom Schexnider with Heart of Hospice brought Kevin’s for lunch
🥔 Wednesday: Bryan Johnson with Southern Grace Hospice Lafayette served a delicious loaded baked potato lunch

Our residents enjoyed a week packed with Christmas activities and celebrations, highlighted by a joyful Resident Christmas Party with music from the Nursing Home Blues Band that had everyone smiling and tapping their toes! 🎶🎅
