Praise God I’m not where I once was but I’m also not yet where I am meant to be! In this journey of Freedom I have found peace, I have managed to forgive and I have found hope.

Many friends and even family turned their backs on me when I needed them most. Some people were embarrassed of my situation and that I needed outside assistance. Only a few stuck around. Abuse is real and it happens to people you know...pray for them, love them and help them! God turns ALL things around for my good and to bring Him glory!

Physical abuse is obvious and can be seen but mental and emotional abuse are the scariest forms and equally detrimental! Often times It feels like I’m describing a bad movie when I tell people about my past and share my testimony, but the memories and details are still very real and vivid. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy on my life and my son’s. Thank you for loving me and guiding me through. Thank you for showing me real love and providing me with my amazing husband, who reminds me everyday of how much We are loved and how much he loves and provides for us!

💥 .lafayette is a new boutique fitness studio that offers a variety of group fitness classes as well as personal training. Not only is it a great place to workout, it’s also a great place to work! We offer competitive pay and complimentary membership privileges.

💥 We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, motivated, experienced individuals who enjoy inspiring others and helping our members achieve their fitness goals. You must have experience in teaching one or more group fitness classes. Indoor Cycling, Yoga, Pilates, Stretch. These are part-time positions. All instructors are given a complimentary membership.

💥 We are hiring enthusiastic, professional Pilates teachers with a current comprehensive Reformer and/or Floor Pilates certification. Experience teaching private Reformer sessions and/or group Floor workouts. Part-time hours and blocks of hours are available. The Movement Lafayette Pilates offers Floor-based workouts, and opportunities to teach private and semi-private Reformer sessions.
