My Story
Years ago, when I decided to become a Marriage and Family Therapist, like most people with a dream, I underestimated all the effort it took to make my dream a reality. But through passion and determination, I acquired the tools and skills needed to fulfill my dream in helping others overcome obstacles and reach their goals and dreams.
Most people are familiar with the concept that Therapy equips a person (or family) with the tools to heal. Life isn’t fair and we have often faced experiences that have brought pain and emotional anguish from our childhood, relationships, jobs, physical illness, etc. But therapy is also a huge warehouse of construction tools for building a better life! The greater the repertoire of tools in our hands, the better we are equipped for changes and new challenges that may come our way on a daily basis. The human spirit is resilient but the toll that these challenges take on our emotional health can often be very difficult to face alone.
My passion is PEOPLE. My goals are to INSPIRE HOPE when feeling hopeless or helpless, CULTIVATE CHANGE while working through life’s challenges, and help you discover and LIVE YOUR PURPOSE!
We are all writing our story, one day and one chapter at a time. We can’t undo or rewrite the past but we can change our futures by renovating and building on our past challenges. I want to help you write the story of your life, your marriage, your family, or your career and ultimately assist you in creating a fulfilling, happy life. Let me help you utilize the resources you already possess within and around you, and provide new strategies to reach your goals and your dreams!
